Depending on the school the tests may contain the following subjects, Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, Puzzles & Problem Solving, and Creative Comprehension (sometimes called the Analysis Component).
The time allocated to each subject will vary, be sure to check the test times for your exam in the Information - How The Tests Work section for your school on the Mock Tests page.
In terms of practice, prep schools generally start getting pupils ready for senior school entrance exams 2 Years in advance. The taking of the tests will usually be arranged by the prep school, and the administration is dealt with by the senior schools.
